One Year Limited Warranty

Storage Appliance Corporation ("we", "our", "us") will, at our option, repair or replace any product found defective in materials or manufacture within one year from the date of purchase (the "warranty period"), provided the notification to us is given within the warranty period and the product is returned to an authorized facility. The warranty period is determined by the date of original retail purchase. To verify the warranty period, an original copy of the purchase receipt is required.

If replacement parts are used in making repairs, these parts may be remanufactured, or may contain remanufactured materials. If it is necessary to replace the entire product, it may be replaced with a remanufactured product. Warranty provisions shall not extend the original warranty period. The costs of shipping the product to us for repairs shall be borne by the customer. If we are unable to repair or replace the product, we will, at our option, refund the purchase price paid for the product provided the product has been returned to us along with proof of purchase price paid. Repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price are the sole remedies under the warranty.

This warranty does not apply to circumstances beyond our control or to damage caused by accident, misuse, tampering, use of the incompatible media or accessories, failure to follow operating instructions provided, commercial use, unauthorized repair, post purchase shipping-related damages, damage caused by fire, earthquake, flood, or other act of God, or damages due to abnormal or noncommercial operating conditions including pollution, salt, gas (sulfides), irregular power voltage, failure to follow our operation, maintenance or repacking instructions, failure to use items supplied by us (such as cables), failure to abide by the terms of the End User License Agreement applicable to the software resident on the product, viruses that were not shipped with the product or if the product has had its serial number altered or removed. Opening the case of any non-optical media product will automatically void this warranty. All future versions of software and hardware are not guaranteed to be compatible with this product. WE MAKE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY FOR THIS PRODUCT AND DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT THAT THE EXCLUSION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS INEFFECTIVE UNDER THE LAW, THE DURATION OF THE IMPLIED WARRANTY WILL BE ONE YEAR FROM THE PURCAHSE DATE OR SUCH LONGER PERIOD AS REQUIRED BY LAW. THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES ALL SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, EXCEPT IN JURISDICTIONS NOT ALLOWING SUCH EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS. Storage Appliance Corporation is not responsible for lost data or information. Warranty service will only be provided in the country of original purchase. The product may be subject to further limitations and restrictions as set out in the End User License Agreement that accompanies the product.

Some states or jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Outside the United States and Canada, the terms and conditions of this warranty may be different. Unless a specific warranty is communicated to you in writing by us, no warranty or liability exists beyond any minimum requirements imposed by law, even though defect, damage or loss may be by negligence or other act. Storage Appliance Corporation offers a one-time 30-day money back guarantee to new customers that are original purchasers of the ClickFree automatic backup directly from GoClickFree.com. If you are such a purchaser and would like to return the ClickFree automatic backup within 30 days of purchase, please contact us returns@storage-corp.com. Upon verifying your proof of purchase, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions on how to return the ClickFree automatic backup. All returns must be in "as shipped" condition (meaning the same condition as when it shipped to you (with the power supply and all parts of the product) and in the same packing materials. Storage Appliance Corporation reserves the right to charge you for missing items, physically damaged parts, and incomplete packaging. Incomplete packaging returns will incur a $75.00 repackaging fee. Any such charges shall be deducted by Storage Appliance Corporation from your refund. Returns will not be accepted for any ClickFree automatic backup that are damaged in any way, including, without limitation, damage caused by use with non-Storage Appliance Corporation products, damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Storage Appliance Corporation, damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansion) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Storage Appliance Corporation or an Storage Appliance Corporation Authorized Reseller). Accepted returns will be given back to you in the form of which you initially paid for the ClickFree robot no later than 30 days after Storage Appliance Corporation’s receipt of the return. All shipping charges are not refundable.
